Joe Lonek was a four-year letterwinner in both track and soccer at Epping High School. Joe was a captain of the track team all four years at Epping and was also captain of the soccer team his senior year. In 2007, Joe was the Class M/S Champion in the 300m and the 110m hurdles.

Off the field, Lonek was President of the National Honor Society and Vice President of Student Council and Student Advisory. After graduating from Dartmouth, Lonek plans to pursue a career in Medicine.

Joe is the son of Robert and Helen Lonek and he has four brothers.
