• The Matchup
Dartmouth women's basketball hosts the Boston University Terriers to open their season on November 2nd, 2026 at 6:30pm ET at Leede Arena in Hanover, N.H. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+. Monday's game will be the 25th all-time meeting between the two programs in a series dating all the way back to 1979, with BU holding a 13-11 edge over the Big Green. Â
• The Opponent
The Terriers are coached by Melissa Graves, who is in her sixth season with the program. This matchup also serves as the Terrior's season debut. Boston University's top two scorers from last season, Anete Adler (14.7 points, 6.3 rebounds per game) and Anastasiia Semenova (9.0 points, 5.4 rebounds), are not on this year's roster, leaving senior guard Bella McLaughlin as the most experienced returning piece after averaging 7.7 points a season ago. The Terriers also add transfer guard Rose Azmoudeh from Austin Peay to a reshaped backcourt as Graves looks to improve on last season's seventh-place conference finish.

• Last Season Looks: The Big Green
Gail Koziara Boudreaux '82 and Family Head Coach of Women's Basketball Linda Cimino led the Big Green to a 10-17 finish, their best finish since the 2019-2020 season, and their best start in over three decades. The season was highlighted by a dominant 98-33 win over Colby-Sawyer and a 10-point road win at Siena, both in mid-November and capped by Dartmouth's longest winning streak in a decade — five straight victories over CCSU, Bucknell, NJIT, Iona and Franklin Pierce. In Ivy League play, the signature moment came on Jan. 31, when Dartmouth beat Yale by 18 at home behind a career-best 30 points from Zeynep Ozel. • Last Season Looks: The Terriers

As the No. 8 seed in the Patriot League Tournament, BU upset No. 9 American 69-58 in the first round before traveling to top-seeded, 21-7 Navy for the quarterfinals, where the Terriers fell 76-66 despite a 33-point, six-rebound effort on 15-of-25 shooting from senior forward Anete Adler.
