KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – After the first round of play at the Irish Creek Collegiate, the Dartmouth men's golf team is in 15th place with a combined team score of 320 (+36) at the par 71 course.
Kennesaw State is atop the leaderboard with a 284 (E) while Wake Forest and UNCW tied for second at 287 (+3).
Senior Charles Cai was the top finisher for the Big Green with a 76 (+5) for a tie for 50th overall out of 89 competitors. Junior Sean Fahey also finished tied for 50th with a 76 (+5), while freshman John Lazor shot a 78 (+7) for 67th place.
The final round of the Irish Creek Collegiate will take place tomorrow with an 8:30 shot gun start.
