Tradition of Excellence

Dartmouth’s sailing team was one of the eight original collegiate sailing teams, founded in the 1930s. Dartmouth has experienced success in New England, within the Ivy League and on a national level since its inception. Dartmouth won its first New England Championship in 1941 and has continued to be a collegiate sailing powerhouse since, winning four national titles (coed championship in 1992, women’s championships in 1992, 2000, 2013 and 2014).
