HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth women's tennis hosted the Boston University Terriers for its fourth straight match inside Boss Tennis Center on Saturday. The Big Green continued their perfect spring season, defeating the Terriers, 5-2.

With the win, Dartmouth moves to 4-0 on the season.

The Big Green won two of their three doubles matches over the Terriers. Third doubles was the first match to finish as Liu and Zhao of Boston University defeated Josephine Lombardi and Brooke Hess, 6-0.

At first doubles, Peyton Capuano and Michela Moore earned their third victory of the season, defeating their opponents, 6-4.

Sam Grosjean and Alexandra Orlins battled at second doubles to earn the victory. The pair won the match 7-6 after winning the tiebreaker, 12-10.

In singles play, the Big Green won four of the six matches, as the overall match win was clinched by Orlins at third singles.

Lombardi's sixth singles matches was the first to conclude as the first-year cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 victory for her first singles win of the spring season.

Lauren Han made her match debut at fourth singles, falling to Guyro of Boston University, 6-2, 6-4.

Capuano's match at first singles was the third to finish as she finished the day undefeated with a 6-4, 6-0 victory.
At fifth singles, Grosjean narrowly lost the first set falling in the tiebreaker, 7-4. She then dropped the second set, 6-4.

Orlins clinched the match win for the Big Green at third singles. She posted a 6-4 victory in the first set before earning a 7-3 win in the tiebreak to win the second set, 7-6.

Moore's match at second singles concluded the match for the Big Green. She cruised to a 6-1 victory in the first before falling in the second set, 6-4. She responded in the third set, posting a 6-4 victory to also remain undefeated on the day.

Moore and Orlins also move to 4-0 on the spring season in singles play, the only remaining Big Green to be undefeated.

Dartmouth will continue its spring season next weekend at the ECAC Indoor Championship hosted by Princeton. The Big Green will play on Friday, February 6, Saturday, February 7, and Sunday, February 8. More information on the tournament will be available on DartmouthSports.com.
