NEW YORK CITY – The Dartmouth softball team fell to Columbia 2-1 in their final game of the season on Sunday morning from New York City.
 
Jenna Brown and 
Cwen Wilson both went 2-3 at the plate and Brown came home to score the lone Big Green run.
 
Justice Malone took care of the Lions herself in the bottom of the first after she aided in all three outs for the Big Green.
 
Columbia reached home first after a solo home run in the bottom of the third inning put them ahead 1-0. 
Isabel Kirby came into pitch for 
Rachel McCarroll.
 
A 
Jenna Brown single in the top of the fifth put her on base. 
Faby Serna doubled down the left field line and Brown scored to knot the game 1-1.
 
Three hits from Columbia in the bottom of the fifth inning led to a run and they took back the lead, 2-1. 
Jensin Hall came to the circle and got the Big Green out of the inning.
 
The bottom of the sixth was a one-two-three inning for the Lions. Dartmouth recorded two hits in the top of the seventh, but Columbia held on and took the 2-1 victory.
