HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth women's golf team completed its fall slate with a ninth place finish at the Princeton Invitational on Sunday at the Springdale Golf Course.
Fall-like conditions on Sunday haunted all but two of the 12 teams, except for Dartmouth and Seton Hall. The Big Green finished the one-stroke behind their scores from the first two rounds on Saturday (318-318-319—955). Seton Hall finished in fifth place and shot a 311 in rounds two and three, respectively.
Yale was the team medalist carding an 896. The Bulldogs also had the top individual medalist, as Marika Liu shot the lowest score of the final round to overthrow teammate Sandy Wongwaitwate who led heading into the final 18 holes.
Freshman Isabelle Kane has one of the biggest turnarounds after she finished the final round shooting a team-low 74 after she has back-to-back rounds of 81 for a total of 236. Kane finished tied for 27th.
Senior Jane Lee tied for 31st and was one stroke-behind Kane carding a 237. Sophomore Jamie Susanin finished in 41st with a score of 241. Freshman Radi Sauro and sophomore Tara Simmons rounded out the Big Green competitors.
