Bonacci, Douthett on Tewaaraton Watch List
HANOVER, N.H. - Seniors Nick Bonacci (Crofton, Md.) and Whitney Douthett (Newtown, Pa.) are on the Tewaaraton Watch List for the Dartmouth men's and women's lacrosse teams.
The Tewaaraton Trophy is presented annually to the outstanding collegiate men's and women's lacrosse players. A list of five finalists will be announced as the season progresses.
Bonacci, a tri-captain for the Big Green men was a first team All-Ivy selection in 2006 and honorable mention in 2005. As a junior, he picked up first team All-New England and USILA honorable mention All-America recognition. Through the first nine games of the season, he has a team-high 29 points on 15 goals and 14 assists.
Likewise, Douthett leads the Dartmouth women with 24 goals and 21 assists for 45 points. She currently is the Big Green's third all-time leading scorer with 184 points, and she's second in career assists with 60. Also co-captain of the women's soccer team, Douthett has twice been voted unanimous first team All-Ivy by the women's lacrosse coaches.
