HANOVER, N.H. -- Dartmouth junior Jamie Coffin was tabbed by the Ivy League as its player of the week for his performance in the Big Green's 16-9 win over Quinnipiac and in a 17-9 victory over Siena in men's lacrosse.
Coffin netted 5 goals in the team's first victory over Quinnipiac and in a second victory over Siena he totaled four goals and added three assists for a seven point day. Coffin's nine goals in the two games came on 18 shots.
The Big Green is off to a fast start with two victories at home. Sacred Heart comes to Hanover on March 19.
Coffin, 2003's Ivy League Rookie of the Year, was a four-time letter-winner in lacrosse at the Brunswick School. His parents are Jock and Nancy Coffin of Greenwich Conn.,
