Summer 2011: Christian earned a silver medal at the US Rowing Club Nationals in July: Read Story

Was a four year letterwinner in crew at Wellesley High School. He captained his team during his senior year. For three consecutive years his club team placed first in the US Rowing Club National Cmanpionships. Outside of athletics, he is a member of Student Honor Roll for all terms at Wellesley High. At Dartmouth he is interested in stdying english and history in hopes to pursue a career in business or law. He hopes to participate in the Dartmouth Outing Club, and various singing groups.

Christian is the son of Tim and Mary Van Dyck and has one sister. His father Tim, was a competitive swimmer at Boston College.
