Quinnipiac's lead reached 16 early in the second, 48-32, but Dartmouth scored 24 of the next 31 points to take its first lead since early in the first half. Haskins' fourth 3-pointer of the evening got the Big Green back within single digits, 48-40. Eventually, a Jaren Johnson backdoor layup, assisted by Munro, put Dartmouth ahead, 56-55. From that point forward, Quinnipiac outscored the Big Green 13-3. The run was a bit deceiving as six of the points came in the game's final 12 seconds. Dartmouth had multiple opportunities down a possession to pull even or take a lead, but couldn't capitalize. A Munro 3-pointer with 43 seconds remaining got the Big Green back within three, 75-72.
