HAMILTON, N.Y. ? With the score even at 1-1, Colgate netted the game-winner with 16 seconds left as the eighth-ranked Dartmouth women's hockey team had its four-game winning streak snapped with a 2-1 loss to the Raiders.

For Dartmouth (16-7-2, 13-4-2 ECAC), freshman Reagan Fischer (Irma, Alta.) netted the lone goal for the Big Green, while senior Carli Clemis (Taber, Atla.) made 16 saves, but gave up two goals in the third period to take the loss.

For Colgate (17-10-3, 11-5-3 ECAC), Marissa Dumbovy was the hero with a pair of scores, including the game-winner and Kimberly Sass played an amazing game between the pipes with 39 saves.

In the opening scoreless frame, Dartmouth outshot the Raiders 10-4, but couldn't put the puck in the back of the net. The Big Green had a pair of chances in the first period on the power play, but could not convert. The Raiders had three opportunities, but were held scoreless by Dartmouth.

After missing out on four power play opportunities in the first 29 minutes of action, Dartmouth got on the board first with an even strength goal. Fischer tallied her 11th goals of the season, 9:08 into the second period, coming unassisted to give the Big Green the first lead of the game.

Dartmouth dominated the play again in the second period, outshooting the Raiders by an 18-5 margin, but could only find the net once. The Big Green went on the man advantage four times in the period, while Colgate earned two power play chances.

In the third period, Colgate knotted the score at 1-1 with a goal from Dombovy with 7:06 remaining in the final frame. The Raiders then took the lead for good on Dombovy's second of the night with 16 seconds remaining in regulation.

Dartmouth's streak of seven-straight games with at least one power play goal came to end as the Big Green was unsuccessful on seven opportunities with the extra skater. Colgate went 0-for-4 on the man advantage. Dartmouth had a commanding 40-18 shot advantage, but it didn't matter as the Raiders took the 2-1 win.

The Big Green will be back in action tomorrow afternoon as Dartmouth travels to Cornell for a 4 p.m. start.
