Noah den Hartog joins the Big Green after spending the last five seasons at the University of Lynchburg. While with Lynchburg he served as an assistant coach while helping the Hornets to a 78-20 record over the last five seasons. With den Hartog on the staff, Lynchburg went to the NCAA Tournament in 2021, 2023, and 2024.
The 2020 graduate of Appalachian State is excited to get started with the Big Green. "I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to join the Dartmouth Field Hockey program. I am excited about the future of the program and look forward to seeing what will accomplish.”
The Netherlands native also served worked with athletes as a Nexus coach in various locations in Virginia and North Carolina dating back to 2021. From 2020-2024 he was the Tournament and Site Director for multiple events with the Focus Field Hockey Club in Virginia.
During his time at Lynchburg, he coached four All-Americans along with 15 NFHCA All-Region players while winning two conference championships.
“Noah has been involved in NCAA field hockey for a number of years now, helping cement Lynchburg’s status as a premier national program at the Division III level.” Egner added. “In addition to this, he’s been active in the USA pathway coaching at Nexus and umpiring at a very high level. He will bring a keen understanding of the modern game and what a championship culture requires to the role here at Dartmouth.”
