Brandon Mitchell-Day combined for 37 points as the Dartmouth men's basketball team fell to Penn 88-75 on Friday night from The Palestra.

Jackson Munro added 12 points and six rebounds in the contest.
The Big Green's record falls to 12-11 (6-4 Ivy League) and Penn's improves to 7-16 (3-7 Ivy League). Â

FIRST HALF: 
- An early 9-2 run from the Big Green put them ahead 18-8 out of the first media timeout.
- A second chance three pointer from Ryan Cornish extended the Big Green lead to 21-10 with 11:23 remaining in the half.
- The Quakers responded with a 13-5 lead and cut the deficient to 29-24 with 7:23 left.
- With 4:21 remaining, a driving layup from Penn brought them within one, 35-34.
- The final segment of the half saw seven points for the Big Green and six for Penn, giving Dartmouth a 42-40 lead going into halftime.
SECOND HALF:
- The half began even but five straight points with 14:53 left gave Penn their first lead of the evening, 50-48.
- Eight straight points from Penn put them in front 61-53, forcing a Dartmouth timeout with 11:27 left.
- The Quakers charged on and took a 57-73 lead with 7:57 remaining.
- A 10-2 run brought Dartmouth back within eight, 75-67.
- Penn prevailed and took the 88-75 victory.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Mitchell-Day and Munro were both 50% from the field.
- Mitchell-Day also shot 50% from three and 100% from the free throw line.
- The game saw three ties and three lead changes, all in the second half.
