Men's and Women's Cross Country - Friday, October 17
After competing at the NEICAAA Championships, the Dartmouth men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Princeton, N.J., for the Princeton Fall Classic on Friday. The women's race is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m., while the men's race is slated for 11:15 a.m.
Field Hockey – Friday, October 17 and Sunday, October 19
Dartmouth field hockey hits the road for a pair of games this weekend. The Big Green takes on Yale on Friday, Oct. 17 and Vermont on Sunday, Oct. 19. Dartmouth took on No. 8 Princeton on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Chase Field and fell 4-0, the Big Green take on Holy Cross on Tuesday, Oct. 14. The Big Green are led by junior captain Ella Bowman who has a team best 10 points with three goals and four assists. Ava Carlson has started all 10 games this season while having played the full game the last three games for Dartmouth. She has a 2.62 goals against average and a .660 save percentage with 35 saves. The game against Yale is slated for a 5 PM start and will be broadcasted on ESPN+ while the Vermont game is slated for a 3 PM start and can be watched on AmericaEast.tv.
Women's Hockey – Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18
Dartmouth women's hockey kicks off its season this weekend, traveling to Holy Cross for a two-game series against the Crusaders. The Big Green posted a 5-21-3 record in Head Coach Maura Crowell's inaugural season with the team in 2024-25, including a win over No. 7 St. Lawrence and a tie with No. 6 Cornell. Dartmouth is 1-0 all time against Holy Cross, winning the only matchup in program history 4-3 in 2017. Puckdrop on Friday is set for 6 p.m. while the two teams will face off at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Volleyball – Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18
Dartmouth volleyball comes off back-to-back 1-1 Ivy League weekends after falling to Princeton and defeating Penn this past weekend. Dartmouth sits at 2-3 in Ivy League play with nine matches left in the regular season. This weekend the Big Green stay in New England for matchups with Yale on Friday, Oct. 17 and Brown on Saturday, Oct. 18. The duo of Kauany Gutz and Maddie LaFata lead the Big Green with 68 and 62 kills each while Sophia Gagnepain has a team best 316 assists. Both matches with Yale and Brown will be broadcasted on ESPN+ while the Yale match starts at 7 PM and the Brown match 5 PM.
Football – Saturday, October 18
Following a thrilling 17-16 win over Yale on homecoming, the Big Green hit the road for their final nonleague game of the season when they travel to Fordham on Saturday. Opening kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Dartmouth most recently erased a 10-0 fourth-quarter deficit, scoring 17 fourth-quarter points to pick up a critical Ivy League win. Owen Zalc hit a 51-yard field goal as time expired, and earned Ivy League Special Teams Player of the Week, with Sean Williams garnering Defensive Player of the Week after a key fourth-quarter interception.
Men's Soccer – Saturday, October 18
After collecting their first Ivy League win of the season last weekend, the Big Green return to action, heading to Connecticut to take on the Yale Bulldogs. Dartmouth got goals from Ben Bilden and Eidur Baldvinsson in the 2-1 victory over Columbia last week, playing most of the second half down a man. The Bulldogs are coming off a 1-1 draw with the Harvard Crimson. Dartmouth is 38-42-8 all time against Yale, winning last year's match in Hanover, 4-0. Women's Rugby – Saturday, October 18
The Big Green will return to NIRA play this weekend, traveling to Lindenwood to take on the Lions. Dartmouth played a cross-divisional game against the Bowdoin Polar Bears last time out, cruising to a 105-0 victory. Lindenwood also put up triple digit points its last time out, defeating Queens two weekends ago, 116-0. The Big Green and Lions have faced off once previously, as the Lions came away with the victory at Brophy Field, 30-15. The game is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. central time and 8:30 p.m. eastern time.
Women's Soccer - Saturday, October 18
Following a tie against Brown last weekend, the Dartmouth women's soccer team returns to Burnham Field on Saturday to host Princeton for Youth Soccer Day. Open and Women's Sailing – Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19
Dartmouth will continue its fall season this weekend, competing in three regattas after two top five finishes last weekend. The Big Green will compete at the Open Atlantic Coast Championship after qualifying for the event two weekends ago with a third-place finish at Yale. Dartmouth will also compete in the Yale Women's regatta and the Oberg Trophy hosted by MIT.
Rowing (Women's, Men's Heavyweight and Men's Lightweight) – Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19
All three Dartmouth rowing programs return to action when they travel to Boston for the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta this weekend.
The women's team will compete in the championship four and eight and club four and eight.
The men's heavyweight team will be racing two championship eights, a club eight and club four.
The men's lightweight team will be racing in the lightweight four and lightweight eight.
Women's Golf – Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19
Dartmouth women's golf closes out the fall season at the Battle at the Beach hosted by Delaware at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club. Dartmouth was last on the course at the Princeton Invitational in which they finished sixth as the team finished +34. Hope Hall was the top finisher for the Big Green as she finished 14th with a score of +8 over the three rounds. Sophia Li and Olivia Cong each finished +9 and tied for 17th.
