Maria Angelino opened the series with a walk-off RBI single to give Dartmouth a win in game one
HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth softball team split a twin bill against Harvard to open a home Ivy League series on Saturday. The Big Green walked-off in the eighth inning to open the day with a 2-1 victory, before the Crimson responded with a 10-4 win to close the doubleheader.

Her heroics led Dartmouth to its first win over Harvard in Hanover since May 3, 2016. Rachel McCarroll and Izzy Kam allowed just one combined run in a strong defensive effort from the Big Green.
Harvard (17-10-1, 8-3 Ivy League) evened the series with a win in the second game of the day, fueled by an explosive first inning. The Crimson tacked on eight runs in the first frame, which Dartmouth was unable to overcome, falling to .500 in Ivy League play.
