Dartmouth Leads The Field After Day 1 of Seahawk Invitational

LITTLESTOWN, Pa. – After one round of play in the Seahawk Invitational, the Dartmouth women's golf team sits atop the leaderboard with a team score of 319 (+31) at the par 72 Quail Valley Golf Course.
Central Connecticut State is four strokes behind the Big Green with a 323, while Albany (328) and host school Wagner (329) round out the top four of the eight-team field.
On Sunday, junior Tara Simmons had the best individual round of the tournament with a 76 (+4), one stroke better than the second place finisher.
Sophomore Isabelle Kane had a decent day on the links, shooting an 80 (+8) and is currently tied for eighth overall.
Freshman Julia Calbi finished with an 81 (+9) for 13th while sophomores Jessica Kittelberger and Radi Sauro are tied for 11th with matching 82's (+10).
Dartmouth will look to remain at the top of the leaderboard when the tournament concludes with the final round of play on Monday.
