Rothwell had an impressive first career Heps this past weekend in New York City. The freshman became the first Dartmouth woman to ever win the indoor long jump, doing so in a program-record 20-3.0/6.17m — a figure that ranks as the sixth best in Heps history and the eighth-best mark in Ivy League history. She would go on to break the Ivy record in the final of the 60m hurdles the next day, running an 8.30 to win the title and best the previous mark of 8.33 that had been set 17 years ago. Rothwell also added four points in the final of the 60m dash. For her efforts, the Durham, North Carolina, native was named the Ivy league Female Field Performer of the Meet.
