HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth athletics teams took home three Ivy titles this spring, including one that the Big Green brought back to Hanover for the first time in 21 years.

The men’s tennis team concluded its spring matches with a 20-5 record overall and a 6-1 mark in the Ivy League, tying for the top spot with Columbia. Thanks to the Big Green’s victory over the Lions during the season, it was Dartmouth — the 27th-ranked team in the country — that earned the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Championship. The Big Green softball squad wrapped up its regular season by winning its final seven conference contests to edge out Harvard for the regular-season title with a record of 16-5. This was the team’s third conference crown in the last five seasons. More

After winning the Ivy Rugby 15s title last fall, the women’s rugby team completed its set by winning the Ivy 7s championship in mid-April. Dartmouth swept through the pool play, winning its three matches by a collective 93-28 score, then won the semifinal and championship matches by shutouts, 40-0 over Brown and 29-0 over Harvard, respectively.
