Men's Soccer is going to the post-season while women's hockey gets first win of the season with the help of this week's Athletes of the Week. Junior Matt Danilack scored the insurance goal that clinched a berth in the NCAA's with a win over Brown on Saturday. Senior Eleni Tebano had the winning goal in overtime to down Princeton 3-2.

Their efforts are rewarded by being named the Hanover Brick and Brew Athletes of the Week.

Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the Hanover Brick and Brew Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.

Eleni Tebano, Sr., Glastonbury, Conn., D, Women's Hockey

Eleni Tebano’s backhand shot with 57 seconds remaining in overtime lifted the Dartmouth women’s hockey team over No. 10 Princeton, 3-2, on Saturday. After the Big Green netted a pair of goals in the first, the Tigers tied the score with two of their own in the opening minutes of the second. The score remained tied for 40 minutes until Tebano and Morgan Turner pieced together a perfect play to give Dartmouth its first win of the season.

Matt Danilack, Jr., Rockville, Md., M/F, Men’s Soccer

The Dartmouth men’s soccer team clinched its third consecutive Ivy League title with a 2-0, victory over Brown last Saturday. The Big Green also punched their ticket to the 2016 College Cup for the 17th time in program history. After a first half tally, Dartmouth got an insurance goal when Matt Danilack netted his third goal of the season. Justin Donawa was able to find Danilack in front of the goalkeeper as Danilack headed in the second Big Green goal of the night.
