After a brief hiatus Hanover Brick and Brew is back on board sponsoring this week's DartmouthSports.com Athletes of the Week. Sophomores Justin Donawa and Julia Calbi were instrumental in their team's success over the weekend.

Their efforts are rewarded by being named the Hanover Brick and Brew Athletes of the Week.

Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the Hanover Brick and Brew Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.

Julia Calbi, So., South Barrington, Ill., Women's Golf

Julia Calbi had solid weekend on the links for Dartmouth in the Big Green’s final tournament of the fall season. Calbi finished tied for ninth overall in the 60-player field in Delaware, shooting a combined 232 (+19) through three rounds. Dartmouth wrapped up its fall season finishing seventh or better in four tournaments. Calbi’s low round of the fall came on Oct. 2 when she shot a 73 in the final round of the Princeton Invitational.

Justin Donawa, So., Sandys, Bermuda., MF, Men's Soccer

Justin Donawa’s goal in the 71st minute last Saturday propelled Dartmouth to 1-0 victory over Columbia, keeping the Big Green in a tie for first place in the Ivy League standings. Donawa’s tally proved to be the difference maker when he gathered a loose ball on the right and finished by the near post for his third game-winning goal of the season. For his efforts, the Sandys, Bermuda native was also named Ivy League Player of the Week.
