Fiona Cronin
Hometown: Arlington, Va.
High School: Washington Lee High School

Why I Chose Dartmouth: I’ve known that I wanted to come to Dartmouth ever since my first visit as a junior. The smaller class size and the supportive, close-knit community that I experienced both on my tour and my official visit made my college decision an easy one. I’m looking forward to being a ’22!

Why I Chose Dartmouth: I just fell in love with the whole place: the campus, the D-Plan, the river, the coaches, and the attitudes of all of the students we met. The collaborative nature of Dartmouth really resonates with me.

Aoibheann Holland

Why I Chose Dartmouth: I chose Dartmouth mainly because of the people. When I visited campus on my official visit, I was drawn to the spectacular environment that the students created. Each person I met, be it a member of the team, a student in a class, or someone I ran into in the library, was incredibly welcoming and excited that I was considering attending Dartmouth. Everyone was happy being a student at Dartmouth, and it was that feeling that made me want to be one as well.

Molly Katarincic
Hometown: Pittsburgh, Pa.

Caitlin Lynch
Hometown: Bradenton, Fla.

Why I Chose Dartmouth: I chose Dartmouth because I felt very at home with the girls on the team and the coaches while on campus. I wanted to find a team where I could make a strong contribution and be with teammates who love the sport as much as I do. Dartmouth’s rigor also makes it the perfect school for me to pursue my academic goals, while keeping a balance with crew. Being from Florida and loving to travel, I also would like to have a college experience that is completely different from anything in Florida.

Carter Nelson

Why I Chose Dartmouth: I chose Dartmouth because I knew it was the place for me upon my first visit, despite campus being empty during Thanksgiving break. The rural, isolated feel is exactly the change that I wanted, especially having grown up in a busy city. Ever since my official visit I have been extremely excited to join the team, especially with Coach Bordeau's infectious enthusiasm for the future.
Fun Fact: My favorite food is definitely Persian.
