BOSTON, Mass. - Sophomore Rebecca Conway won the Under-23 event at the C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints World Indoor Rowing Championships this past weekend.
Her hammer-winning time of 6:58.0 was also fast enough to secure top placement in the Collegiate division by 4.7 seconds.
The C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints was founded by a group of Olympic rowers training in Boston following the 1980 USA Olympic Boycott. Since then, it has grown from a friendly rivalry of about 20 teammates to an internationally recognized competition featuring over 2,000 competitors of all ages and abilities from around the globe.
