HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth women’s rowing team hosted its only event of the fall, the annual Green Monster, on Sunday. It is a freshman-only race and the Big Green entered three boats, finishing second overall, when all of its times were combined.
Dartmouth’s A and B boats finished in second and third place; the A crew, which was coxed by Jasmine Williams and stroked by Sam Hawley, finished with a time of 16:27.2, while the B boat – coxed by Katie Erdos and stroked by Annie Blackburn – followed in 16:43.9. Boston College took first (16:00.0), while Boston University was fourth (17:01.7).
The Big Green also entered a 4+ in the race, completing the course in 23:11.9.
Dartmouth will close the fall next Sunday at the Foot of the Charles.
