ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The eighth-ranked Dartmouth men’s squash team fell to No. 3 Rochester, 9-0 in the Big Green’s opening match of the 2016-17 campaign.

Alvin Heumann, Brandon De Otaduy Nam and Nick Harrington each lost 3-0, as Carson Spahr battled hard, taking his opponent to five games. The Milton, Massachusetts native fell in the final game, 11-3. 

Sam Epley won the first game of his match, but fell in the next three to his opponent. Matt Giegerich, Brian Giegerich and Jack Harvey each fell to their opponents 3-1 in hard fought matches.

Dartmouth returns to the court this weekend when the Big Green host Navy and Franklin & Marshall this Saturday at the Berry Squash Courts.
