Ellie Carson So., Alexandria, Va., A, Women's Lacrosse
Sophomore Ellie Carson helped Dartmouth to a 2-0 week with strong showings in a mid-week tilt at Albany and in the Ivy League opener at home against Columbia on Saturday. On the road against the Great Danes, Carson set a new career high when she scored six times in the 12-8 victory. Coming home to Scully-Fahey Field, the sophomore notched five more goals and dished out a pair of assists for a seven-point afternoon. Carson’s strong day helped the Big Green to a 20-10 win, marking the sixth time in program history that the team reached the 20-goal mark in an Ivy League game.
Will Graber, So., Broomfield, Colo., F, Men's Hockey
The sophomore center was a key component of Dartmouth’s first-round win against St. Lawrence this past weekend. Graber registered a point in each of the three games, picking up an assist in both Game 1 and 2. In the third and decisive game played on Sunday evening, Graber got the scoring started with his ninth of the year early in the second period with the team on a 5-on-3 advantage. Graber is the team’s leader in both points (25) and assists (16) and is second in goals (8) heading into this weekend’s quarterfinal series at Harvard.
