LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – It was announced Friday afternoon that Dartmouth senior forward Troy Crema had been named to 2017 All-ECAC Hockey Third Team.

The league office announced its annual all-conference selections prior to the start of the semifinal round being played at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid.

Crema earned the distinction after a career season in his final year in Hanover, leading the team with 29 points. The Toronto native also posted a career high in goals, netting 17 and becoming the first Dartmouth player in seven years to reach that mark.

During regular-season play, Crema was sixth nationally and second in ECAC Hockey with five game-winning goals.

The senior graduates as the active leader in goals (27) and second in points (59), picking up a majority of both during the 2016-17 campaign. Crema was also one of just three Dartmouth players this season to play in all 31 of the team’s games (Josh Hartley, Cameron Roth).

In 22 league games, Crema amassed 13 goals — the fifth-best total of any player — and 21 points, five more than any other Big Green skater. Overall, his 12 assists were second on the team, while he also led in power-play goals (6), power-play points (12) and shots on goal (112) this winter.
