HANOVER, N.H. – After two rounds at the par-72 course at the Hanover Country Club, Dartmouth finished tied for third with Sacred Heart University scoring a combined 611 (+35). Freshman Maddie Nelson was the low scorer amongst all Big Green players, tying for fifth with a five-over 149 for the “B” team.
Boston College won the tournament on the strength of its five-under 283 on the first day of competition. St. John’s climbed up to second place today thanks to an eight-over 296 with Kirsty Beckwith and Linda Wang finishing second (145, +1) and fourth (147, +3), respectively. The Eagles’ Lois Kaye Go earned medalist honors as the lone player to complete the two rounds under par with a 141 (-3).
Senior Jamie Susanin led Dartmouth’s top team as she tied for 14th with sophomore Catharine Roddy of the “B” team at eight-over par (152). Isabelle Kane completed round two one stroke behind them for the “A” team, tying for 16th with two other players.
Julia Calbi carded a 154 (+10), while fellow classmate Hana Bradshaw rallied during the second round, improving by seven strokes to finish at four-over. Freshman Kristin Soh also picked up her play by six strokes, shooting a 75 (+3) to finish at 12-over par.
The Big Green continue their season next weekend in New Jersey at the Princeton Invitational.
