HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth women’s golf team started its season today at the Dartmouth Invitational at the Hanover Country Club in Hanover, N.H. Entering two teams into the tournament, the Big Green currently sit in second, while the B team is in fifth.

Atop the leaderboard for the Big Green are sophomores Catherine Roddy, who is tied for fifth with a score of 73 (+1), and Julia Calbi who is tied for seventh, while freshman Maddie Nelson is two-over.

After the first round of play, Dartmouth carded a 301 (+13) for second place, while Team B finished fifth with a score of 309 (+21). Ahead of them is Boston College, who currently sits in first at five-under. St. John’s is third shooting a 306 (+18), while Central Connecticut State sits in fourth.

Also representing the Big Green at the tournament is senior Jamie Susanin who carded a 75 (+3) after the first round. Classmates Jessica Kittleberger and Isabella Kane completed their first round shooting four-over. Sophomore Hana Bradshaw shot a 83 (+11) to tie for 52nd.

Teammates, Bethany Burns, Kristin Soh, and Tara Simmons also competed for Dartmouth, tying for 35th with a score of nine-over.

The tournament resumes tomorrow with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
