Ashley Zepeda, Jr., Phoenix, Ariz., Rugby

Scored three first half-tries to set a new career high in Dartmouth’s lopsided 110-0 win against visiting Columbia in the Ivy home opener last Saturday.  Her third try of the day was also her fourth of the season and gave the home team a commanding 62-point lead heading into halftime.

Folarin Orimolade, Sr., Burtonsville, Md., Football, LB

Senior Folarin Orimolade, a 6-0, 235-pound linebacker from Burtonsville, Maryland, led a Dartmouth defense that held a Holy Cross team averaging over 500 yards to just 285 this past Saturday in the Big Green’s 35-10 road victory. Orimolade recorded eight tackles, including career highs of four tackles for a loss and two sacks. One of the sacks pinned the Crusaders at their own five, leading to a fumbled snap on a punt attempt in the end zone that was recovered by Dartmouth for a touchdown just before halftime. For his performance, he was named not only the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week, but also the Johnny Turco MVP of the Holy Cross homecoming game, which has been given out since 1965 to the top home or visiting player.
