HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth football team takes to the field on Wednesday at 2 p.m. to begin its preseason training schedule in preparation for the 2017 season. Coming off an up-and-down 2016 campaign, Robert L. Blackman Head Football Coach Buddy Teevens will get his first opportunity to evaluate his team as a whole — including the Class of 2020 — after a competitive spring on the gridiron.

Dartmouth was picked fifth in the preseason media poll, but has nine returning starters on offense and six more on the other side of the ball. The team will be led by tri-captains Jeremiah Douchee (Sr., DE, 6-4, 275), Jack Heneghan (Sr., QB, 6-4, 225) and Kyran McKinney-Crudden (Sr., NB, 6-0, 200).

Check back to DartmouthSports.com throughout the preseason schedule for interviews with Coach Teevens before the season gets under way with the Big Green’s first game in the state of Florida against Stetson on Sept. 16 at 6 p.m.
