Cups and Titles and NCAA Qualifiers, Oh My! The men's heavyweight crew team won the Atalanta Cup over Brown University for the first time in 14 years, helped in part by senior Nevin Cunningham. Junior Kristina Mathis won two singles and two doubles matches over Penn and Princeton, with the Princeton win clinching a share of the Ivy title and the automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.

Their efforts are rewarded by being named the Hanover Brick and Brew Athletes of the Week.

Kristina Mathis, Jr., Greer, S.C., Women's Tennis

Kristina Mathis won both of her singles and doubles matches against Penn and Princeton over the weekend and clinched the win over the Tigers on Sunday to give Dartmouth a share of the Ivy League title and the league's NCAA automatic bid. This is the first time since 2011 that the Big Green have finished first in the conference.

Nevin Cunningham, Sr., Evanston, Ill., Men's Heavyweight Crew

On Saturday, the Dartmouth heavyweight rowing team won its second straight race, this time winning the Atalanta Cup for the first time in 14 years by defeating Brown in the first varsity by just nine tenths of a second. Nevin Cunningham, a staple in the first varsity this season, was in the five seat.
