NEW BRITIAN, Conn. – The Dartmouth men’s cross country team was 10th Friday afternoon at the Central Connecticut State Mini Meet held at Stanley Quarter Park.

The Big Green posted 314 points, led by rookie Sam Morton’s 12th-place finish in 15:27.9 on the shorter 5K course.

Brain Mass (53rd, 16:06.4) was the next Dartmouth runner to cross. Following Mass were fellow freshmen Griffin Mackey (75th, 16:36.8), William Phinney (85th, 17:00.7) and Timothy Zepf (17.05.6). The final runner wearing the Green and White to finish was Jack Kerin in 98th, posting a 17:39.3 to his credit.

Dartmouth next runs at the 2017 Ivy League Heptagonal Championship in The Bronx at Van Cortlandt Park.
