PRINCETON, N.J. – The Dartmouth men’s cross country team claimed fourth Saturday afternoon at the 2016 Ivy League Heptagonal Championship held at Princeton’s West Windsor Fields.

Led by senior Julian Heninger’s seventh-place finish and All-Ivy League First Team honors, the Big Green posted 115 team points. Penn won with 38 points, followed by Princeton (51) and Columbia (81).

Heninger ran the 8K course in 24:08, moving up five spot in the final segment of the race to take seventh. Daniel Salas was near the front of the pack for most of the game before finishing 19th in 24:18.

Matt Herzig was Dartmouth’s third scoring runner, finishing in 24:23 to take 23rd overall. Nat Adams was 29th in 24:32, while Connor Clark rounded out the scoring with a 37th-place showing in 24:39.

After Dartmouth, Yale (118), Cornell (147), Brown (158) and Harvard (194) rounded out the field.
