HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth men’s cross country team is ready to take on the challenge of its most anticipated meet of the season as it runs in the 2016 Ivy League Heptagonal Championship.
The Big Green are set to square off in the 8K race against the seven other Ancient Eight programs at Princeton’s West Windsor Fields.
Dartmouth has posted a strong 2016 season to date, winning its home invitational with 16 points to open the season back in September. The Green and White followed up with an impressive first-place finish at the BC Coast-To-Coast Invitational the following weekend, beating nationally ranked teams from Arkansas (No. 6) and Providence (20) en route to its second team title of the season.
There has been no shortage of challenging competition this fall as following the BC meet, Dartmouth has gone on to run at the Paul Short Invitational (7th) as well as the NCAA Pre-Meet (18th) out in Terre Haute, Indiana, two large-scale meets with a wealth of top-tier teams from around the nation.
