HANOVER, N.H. – No. 33 Dartmouth men’s tennis completed its weekend sweep by taking down Brown, 5-2, in its first match at the Boss Tennis Center since February. The Big Green improved to 16-5 and 2-1 in Ivy League play, while the Bears fell to 14-5 and 0-2.

"We played one of our best doubles points of the season today, especially from an energy standpoint," head coach Chris Drake said. "All six guys on the court, as well as their teammates off the court, were dialed in from the first point. We jumped out to some big leads early in singles and were able to finish most of them in straight sets. Ivy League matches are always, always tough, so going 2-0 this weekend is a very positive result."

Wins by junior Roko Glasnovic and freshman Casey Ross at No. 2 doubles and senior Max Fliegner and freshman Peter Conklin at the No. 3 position gave Dartmouth the first point of the afternoon.

The Green won the first four matches of singles play to wrap things up. Sophomore David Horneffer took down Jacob Walker at the No. 2 spot, while classmate Charlie Broom followed that up with his 6-0, 6-4 defeat of Jacob Haworth at the No. 1 position to make it a 3-0 match. Wins by Conklin at the No. 6 spot and Fliegner at No. 4 clinched for Dartmouth.

Brown victories at the No. 5 and 3 positions ended the match.

Next weekend, Dartmouth will take on Cornell and Columbia on the road.
