HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth men’s tennis sophomores David Horneffer and Charlie Broom are ranked No. 19 in the ITA Division I Doubles Rankings that were released on Wednesday.

The Big Green pair and two doubles teams from Columbia (No. 7 and No. 28) are the only Ivy League representatives this week.

Having played doubles with different partners as freshmen in 2016-17, Horneffer and Broom only started playing together this January and are currently 6-0 at the No. 1 position. On the road against Louisville on Saturday, they defeated their first ranked opponents, the No. 6 team of Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff and Parker Wynn.

Dartmouth is 6-0 so far in 2018, which is its best start to the spring since the 2012 season when the Big Green were 7-0.

The Big Green will have another busy weekend when it hosts Minnesota on Friday, and Rice and Bryant on Sunday. All three matches can be watched on the Ivy League Network (ILN) with the purchase of a subscription.
