The brooms were out for the Big Green this past weekend. Women's basketball got two important league wins at home against Cornell and Columbia. Men's tennis hit the road and came home with victories over Indiana and Louisville, extending their record to 6-0 on the season. Senior Andi Norman shot 6-for-7 three pointers to open with a win against Cornell. The doubles matchup of David Horneffer and Charlie Broom knocked off both of there opponents in the two wins.
Their efforts are rewarded by being named the Hanover Brick and Brew Athletes of the Week.

Andi Norman, Sr., Upper Arlington, Ohio, F, Women's Basketball
In a win over Cornell, Friday night, senior Andi Norman was on fire from three-point range, shooting 6-of-7 for 18 points, including two three-point buckets in the last three minutes of the third quarter brought Dartmouth to a 17-point advantage. The six-foot forward followed that performance up with 10 points and five rebounds in an, 88-65 win over Columbia the following night. The Upper Arlington, Ohio native is averaging 42.5 percent shooting from the floor and 43.8 from beyond the arc in conference play.
Charlie Broom, So., Hertfordshire, England, Men's Tennis
David Horneffer, So., Brookfield, Wis., Men's Tennis
In last weekend’s wins over Indiana and Louisville on the road, Charlie Broom and David Horneffer went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles.
Against Indiana on Friday night Broom and Horneffer got on the board first with a 6-4 victory over Raheel Manji and Keivon Tabrizi.
A 6-2 win by the sophomore teammates over the sixth-ranked doubles team in the nation at No. 1 gave the Green a 1-0 advantage in the match with Louisville. The Big Green are currently 6-0, their best start to a season since 2011-12.
