MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Dartmouth men’s tennis team concluded the fall on the third and final day of the Gopher Invitational on Sunday. Seniors Max Schmidt and Diego Pedraza represented Dartmouth, taking on two players from Notre Dame.
In the fourth round of singles, Schmidt had a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Guillermo Cabrera, while Pedraza dropped his fifth-round match to Johnathan Small, winning the second set (7-5), but dropping the first and third by the same scores.
Schmidt and Pedraza paired up to take on Small and Cabrera in doubles, falling by a score of 6-3 to end the weekend.
Dartmouth will return to the courts in January.
