PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Three Dartmouth men’s tennis players appeared in main draw singles and doubles matches on day two of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Regional Championship on Friday on Penn’s campus.

In doubles, junior Max Fliegner and freshman Charlie Broom opened main draw play for the Big Green with an 8-2 victory over Christopher Toner and Arnaud Valentin of UConn, advancing to the second round.

Senior Diego Pedraza played Dartmouth’s lone singles match of the day, facing Princeton’s Peyton Holden. The Big Green player put up a fight, but ultimately fell, 6-2, 6-4.

Dartmouth will play three doubles matches and five singles matches on Saturday.
