PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League has announced the Dartmouth softball team as the 2018 Ivy champion ahead of this weekend’s championship series.

The Big Green finished the season on top of the conference with a 16-5 record, earning the right to host the Ivy League Championship Series against Harvard. The league office also stated that should the second-place team, Harvard, win the championship series, it will join Dartmouth as co-champions.

This weekend Dartmouth and Harvard meet in the ILCS for a best two-of-three series in Hanover with the winner earning the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Regionals beginning next week.
