BOSTON – The Dartmouth men’s indoor track & field team competed Saturday at Boston University’s Valentine Invitational.

The highlight of the day was a sixth-place showing from Pat Gregory in the mile. Gregory ran a 4:02.20 in the event, a personal best and the 10th-best time in the storied history of the program.

Amos Cariati was third in the 500m for the Big Green as he crossed in 1:03.70. Timothy Brennan was also third, doing so in the weight throw with a toss of 59-10.5/18.25m

Alex Frye’s sixth-place showing in the 60m hurdles in 8.27 came thanks to a heat-wining performance.

In the long jump, Hendric Tronsson was seventh with a leap of 22-8.5/6.92m on his fifth attempt of the afternoon.
