There was a whole lot of running and jumping going on this past weekend at the Ivy League Outdoor Track and Field Championship. From freshman Cha'Mia Rothwell to senior Nico Robinson, the Big Green was well represented.

Their efforts are rewarded by being named the Hanover Brick and Brew Athletes of the Week.

Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the Hanover Brick and Brew Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.

Cha'Mia Rothwell,  Fr., Durham, N.C., Sprints/Jumps, Women's Outdoor Track & Field

The rookie sprinter and jumper picked up 18 total points this weekend for the Big Green at the 2017 Ivy League Championship Meet. Rothwell won the 100m hurdles and set a new Dartmouth record (13.23) along the way. She added six points with a third-place finish in the long jump and another two with a fifth-place finish in the final of the 200m. Rothwell finished her first season of Heps competitions with three titles between indoors and outdoors, including both sprint hurdles (60mH/indoors, 100mH outdoors).

Nico Robinson, Sr, Stanford, Calif., Multi, Men's Outdoor Track & Field

The Northern California native erased the disappointment of a second-place finish a season ago by winning the 2017 Ivy League Outdoor decathlon this weekend at Yale. Robinson dominated the event, posting an impressive 338 points en route to the individual crown and First-Team All-Ivy League honors. In all, Robinson won the 100m, long jump, shot put and 110m hurdles, while taking second in the pole vault and third in both the high jump and discus.
