NEW ORLEANS – The Dartmouth men’s track & field program was honored as one of the 2015 US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Teams that were announced Friday afternoon.

The Big Green posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.22 this year and were one of just 122 men’s programs from across the country to earn All-Academic Team distinction, meeting the required 3.0 GPA necessary to appear on the list. That GPA was an improvement from the 3.15 the Big Green posted in 2014-15.

Helping Dartmouth’s cause in this team honor were Tim Gorman, Daniel Salas and Brian Masterson who were all honored with individual spots on the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have met at least one of the following athletic standards:
- For the indoor season, a student-athlete must have finished the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 (collective listing) in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org
- For the outdoor season, a student-athlete must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Championships (including preliminary rounds).
