The Dartmouth women’s soccer team travels to Yale for its third game of conference play. Action gets underway at 4 p.m. in New Haven.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Yale enters the game with a 7-3-1 record, after taking a 3-0 win over Harvard last weekend. Leading the offense is junior forward Michelle Alozie with six goals and four assists. The Bulldog goalkeepers have split time almost evenly, with sophomores Jane Buckley and Alyssa Fagel playing 405 and 612 minutes respectively. The pair combine for 43 saves and a save percentage of .741.
LAST TIME AGAINST YALE
Last season, Yale came to Hanover and went home with a 1-0 win over Dartmouth, with a lone goal scored by Noelle Higginson. The Bulldogs lead the series 21-20-3, and have won the last two meetings.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green are fresh off a 2-0 win over UMass Lowell on Monday. Freshman Bonnie Shea recorded her first collegiate goal in the 15th minute of play, and junior Remy Borinsky scored the insurance goal in the 22nd minute. The defense held on, not allowing any goals from the River Hawks.
BETWEEN THE PIPES
Freshman keeper Mariel Gordon continues to play in the net for the Big Green, with 41 saves and a .774 save percentage.
