The Dartmouth women’s soccer team opens the season with a two-game home stand, hosting Florida International Friday at 7 p.m. and Stony Brook on Sunday at 1 p.m., both at Burnham Field.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
FIU comes to the game with one game already under its belt. The Panthers dropped their opening matchup against Miami 2-0 on Sunday evening. In 2016 FIU finished with an overall record of 3-11-3, and a 12th place slot in the Conference USA standings.

This is the first time Dartmouth has played FIU in women’s soccer.
SCOUTING THE SEAWOLVES
Stony Brook comes to Hanover after playing two games, falling to regional force Northeastern in its season opener and beating Iona 3-0 Sunday afternoon. This is the second meeting between Dartmouth and Stony Brook, the last matchup was in September 1991with a Big Green 2-0 victory.
The 26-player roster is led by Gia Parker and Bianca Ribi who are both playing their final season for the Big Green. In 2016 Parker started in six of the 16 games she played, and scored one goal at Cornell. As a junior, Ribi played in 14 games and scored her first career goal in the 3-1 victory over Albany.
CLASS OF 2021
Joining the returning players are seven freshmen who will make their collegiate debut this season. New to the Big Green this year are Mariel Gordon, Erin Kawakami, Avery Schuldt, Lorna MacFarlane, Taylor Olson, Bonnie Shea and Claire Trop.
