PRINCETON, N.J. – Three members of the Dartmouth women’s soccer team received All-Ivy honors for their hard work on the field in 2016, as announced by the league office on Thursday.

“It’s nice to see these three named to the all Ivy team,” said Big Green head coach, Ron Rainey. “It will also be great to have Remy, Brittany and Lindsay return in the fall. We hope to use that momentum to help the team reach new heights in 2017.”

Remy Borinsky received First Team All-Ivy honors after a solid sophomore campaign. Borinsky finished the season with four points, including a goal in a 3-1 victory at home against Albany. She was a key contributor on the field for Dartmouth, starting in all 16 games played. It is the second All-Ivy accolade for the Warren, N.J. native after Borinsky was named to the All-Ivy Second Team in 2015.

Junior Brittany Champagne also received All-Ivy honors for the second time in her career after she was tabbed for the Second Team. Champagne also finished the season with points and scored in the victory over the Great Danes at Burnham Field. Starting all 16 games played, Champagne took 10 shots, eight of which were on goal.

The Big Green also had one player receive Honorable Mention, as junior Lindsay Knutson was a solid player on the defensive side of the field, helping to limit the Big Green’s opponents to just 15 goals in 2016.
