HANOVER, N.H. – This weekend the Dartmouth women’s basketball team will play its annual “Play 4 Kay” game, in support of breast cancer awareness and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, against Columbia on Saturday, February 3.

Since 2009, teams across the country have held breast cancer awareness games to honor longtime North Carolina State head coach Kay Yow who passed away in 2009.

On Thursday, February 1, the team will host a youth clinic for girls in grades K-8 and boys in grades K-6 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in Leede Arena. For a suggested donation of $10, participants will receive an hour of instruction, a Dartmouth women’s basketball t-shirt and a ticket for the game on Saturday. All proceeds will benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Its mission is to extend and improve the lives of all women battling cancer by raising money for research and assisting the underserved.
