HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth volleyball head coach Gilad Doron has announced his team's schedule for the upcoming 2017 season. The Big Green will play 23 matches in the span of two months, with 11 of those taking place at Leede Arena.

Doron will be returning for his second season at the helm of Dartmouth's program. He is joined by Eyal Zimet in his second year and Marissa Prinzbach, who comes to Hanover from Franklin Pierce.

“I am pleased to announce our 2017 fall schedule,” Doron said. “We built a very solid non-conference schedule, facing nine different opponents from eight conferences, such as the Pac-12, Big-12 and ACC.

I feel this schedule is very challenging and gives us the opportunity to test our new team before heading into Ivy play.”

As they do every season, the Big Green will open their campaign with three consecutive multi-day tournaments. Dartmouth will kick off 2017 at Cal Berkeley (Sept. 1-2) before hosting the Dartmouth Invitational the following weekend.

The invite will feature just three teams this year (Syracuse, Iona and Sacred Heart) and will take place from Sept. 8-9. After that, the Big Green will wrap up tournament play Sept. 15-16 at UNH's invite.

After that, Dartmouth will open Ivy League play at Harvard (Sept. 22), returning home to host Columbia and Cornell (Sept. 29-30) before heading to Princeton and Penn (Oct. 6-7). Yale and Brown at home on Oct. 13-14 will close out the first go-through of the schedule before the Big Green host the Crimson (Oct. 20).

Dartmouth will be on the road for four in a row against Cornell and Columbia (Oct. 27-28) and Brown and Yale (Nov. 3-4) to end the road portion of its season. The Big Green will close the 2017 season on Nov. 10-11 by hosting Penn and Princeton.
