BOSTON – The Dartmouth women’s indoor track & field team participated in the non-scoring BU Terrier Invitational Friday afternoon and evening at the Track & Tennis Center.

The highlight of the meet for the Big Green was Abby Livingston winning the 500m race in 1:14.37, nearly a second better than the next runner, while dominating the field of 38. 

HIGHLIGHTS:
Bridget Flynn was the first of three Dartmouth harriers in the top-10 of the mile, finishing seventh in 4:51.31. Lauren Archer was ninth in 4:41.61, while Grace Thompson ran a 4:54.08 to take 10th.

The 5000m saw four Big Green runners in the top-15 with Julia Stevenson (6th, 16:32.68) leading the way. Lillian Anderson (9th, 16:39.43), Olivia Lantz (12th, 16:51.71) and Leigh Moffett (15th, 17:04.96) were the other three posting strong times.

Bridget O’Neill was fourth in a field of 43 in the 1000m, running a 2:48.56.

In the 800m, Claire Dougherty was 10th, crossing the finish line in 2:12.10.

Freshman Glennis Murphy was first in her heat of the 3000m, running a 9:45.33 and taking 11th overall. Lauren Sapone was 19th overall in 9:53.84, a time that was also second in her section.
